Te invitamos a Tours de la Mesa Directiva para escuchar a la comunidad escolar. Únase a nosotros este miércoles, el 24 de mayo, a las 6 PM en la biblioteca de Avenal Elementary School. Los miembros de la Mesa Directiva de RSUSD estarán presentes para escuchar sus preocupaciones sobre nuestras escuelas. El objetivo de los tours es trabajar juntos para crear entornos más eficaces para nuestros estudiantes, personal y comunidades.

RSUSD will be offering a summer program for students in TK-8th grade. The program will be held in two phases #1 June 12 - 29 Monday - Thursday phase #2 July 17-27 Monday - Thursday. The program will be offered from 7:45 a.m. - 4:45 p.m. Please register your student in the program by filling out the form below before Friday, June 2nd. RSMS has the pleasure of qualifying 5 athletes for the Valley Championships at Buchanan High School this coming May 6th. Congratulations to Jonovan Munoz, Felipe Melara, Kevin Merino, Manuel Nunez, and Jose Vengas! Good luck Diamondbacks!

TeenTruth assemblies stop by at RSMS to talk to our students about “school violence”, “making good choices”, and “setting yourself up for success”. Guest speaker, Brandon, was happy to stick around and play some ball with the kids, all 3 grades! RSMS had a great day!

Day 2 of 3 of 6th grade camp! Tai dai shirts, rockets, more zip line and rock wall. Finished with evening presentation ”Reptile Ron” where students got to interact with all his pets.

We are so proud of our students that competed on this year’s Spelling Bee at District and County level! Our students represented the district well! In the county Spelling Bee, of our 16 students that competed, we had our 6th grade student Jacob Aguilera (from KCES) place 2nd and our 1st grade student Adelaiza Gamboa (from AES) place 3rd. Student Juan Ayala (3rd grade/AES) placed 5th. Other students placed from 7th through 18th. Congratulations to all! We are extremely proud of you!

Day 1 of 6th Grade Camp! So much to do here! Started out with 5:30am breakfast and load up. Arrived and assigned cabins and on to the class sessions. Kids and staff enjoyed archery, zip lines, rock wall, rocketry, and micro biomes to name just a few. And that was just Day 1 of 3…
