Dear Tamarack Elementary Families,

Welcome Back Tigers! We are excited to welcome back our returning students, and to also to welcome our new families. As your principal, I am honored to lead our school community and support students in their academic and personal growth. Tamarack is a great place to learn, build friendship, problem solve, and be lifelong-learners.

We encourage all our students to be kind, compassionate, and inclusive towards one another. Our school staff is dedicated to providing a high-quality education that fosters learning and collaboration. In working with our staff, families, and community members we work to create a positive and safe learning environment for all.

We welcome and encourage all families to participate in their children’s education as much as possible. Families can stay connected by checking the Tamarack school website, following Tamarack on Facebook, and downloading the Tamarack Parent Square Application. Please make sure that we have your current email address and phone numbers on file so that you can receive these notifications. We encourage our parents to attend all your child’s events, become a school volunteer, and join our School Site Council (SSC) and English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC) meetings.

Our school community takes a partnership between the school staff and families to help your child meet their fullest potential. Parents, please encourage your child to be here at school each day, and on time because attendance matters! Student attendance is critical to your child's success.

The incredible Tamarack Elementary teachers and support staff are committed to addressing the needs and skills of all of our students. We pride ourselves in building relationships with our students and their families. I am looking forward to working together in making this a wonderful year for all the students and families that we serve.
